Games I Would Like to Replay

There are so many games released every month it sometimes becomes hard to keep up.  I have a list of new game releases from now until the end of the year that will keep my plenty busy.  However, with every new game that I play, my list of games that I would like to replay has the potential to grow larger and larger.  Last year I replayed and completed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and enjoyed reminiscing about my favorite adventures.  It was also around the time of The Last Jedi, which added some extra motivation to breathe in the Star Wars universe.  I tried to replay The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age on am emulator for my computer, but I could not get back into the game the way I wanted.  Just now I noticed that Brian is replaying Skyrim on his computer for the millionth time – get a new game Brian!  He also replayed Doom over the last month because he enjoyed it so much.

Here are some of my favorite games that I really should go back and replay soon.  When deciding which video game experiences are truly my favorites I always ask myself, would I replay this game again and again?

Here is the list of games I wouldn’t mind being stuck on an island with:

Resident Evil 1, 4 & 7

Mass Effect series

Halo series

God of War 1-3

Uncharted series

Pokemon Red, Gold, & Moon

Final Fantasy XV

NieR: Automata

Dark Souls III

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Link’s Awakening, Oracle of Time, Oracle of Ages

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Metal Gear Solid series

Luigi’s Mansion

Super Metroid

Metroid Prime

Splinter Cell 1 & 3

Could I narrow this down further?  Yes.  Do I want to? No.  Just give me a Zelda game and I will be happy!  Which game would you take with you if you were on a season of Survivor?
